The research project “Brain and Pain (BaP)”; is part of Research carried out by researchers/ scientists dependent of the UNIVERSITY OF SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (hereinafter USC), being responsible for the website, as responsible for the management file of the Research, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, hereinafter RESPONSIBLE, which makes this document available to users, with which it intends to comply with the obligations set forth in Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce (SISEC), BOE No. 166, as well as informing all users of the website about what are the conditions of use.

Any person accessing this website assumes the role of user, committing to the observance and strict compliance with the provisions set forth herein, as well as any other legal provision that may be applicable.

4. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

For the resolution of all disputes or issues related to this website or the activities developed therein, Spanish legislation will apply, to which the parties expressly submit, being competent to resolve all disputes arising or

Purpose of the treatment: to maintain a relationship of disclosure of the activities carried out by the researchers of the “Brain and Pain” research program with the User. The operations planned to carry out the treatment are:

 To process orders, requests or any type of request that is made by the user through any of the contact forms that are made available to them, inclusion in the contact list, the provision of services and / or the
management of the relationship of the research activity.
 To conduct statistical studies.
 To forward the newsletter of the website.

Legal basis of the treatment: consent of the interested party and, in some cases, the previsions contemplated in the Organic Law of Universities and in Autonomous Law 6/2013, of the University system of Galicia.

Data conservation criteria: data will be maintained as long as there is a mutual interest to maintain the end of the treatment or during the time necessary to comply with the legal obligations. Once the purpose is fulfilled, the data will be blocked until the applicable statute of limitations expires, unless they are necessary for the provision of the public service of higher education.

Communication of the data: The data object of treatment may be transferred to Public Administrations with competences in the matter and in the cases in which there is legal obligation.

2. COMPULSORY OR OPTIONAL CHARACTER OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER

That in accordance with the provisions in the regulations in force on personal data protection, the RESPONSIBLE is complying with all the provisions of the GLDP regulations for the treatment of personal data of its responsibility, and manifestly with the principles described in article 5 of the GLDP, for which they are treated in a lawful, loyal and transparent manner in relation to the interested party and adequate, pertinent and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are treated.

The RESPONSIBLE guarantees that he has implemented appropriate technical and organizational policies to apply the security measures established by the GLDP in order to protect the rights and freedoms of the Users and has communicated the appropriate information so that they can exercise them.
